Overview
What is Radiomics?
Radiomics is a new research direction based on image emerging after 2014. By high-throughput extraction of mass image connotation information, feature extraction and model construction, radiomics can achieve a deeper level of data mining beyond image, which is used for accurate diagnosis of diseases, efficacy assessment and prognosis prediction. The applicant took the lead in nasopharyngeal carcinoma MRI radiomics study, and proposed innovative process designs including multi-parameter MRI radiomics image data processing and prediction model building, which provides methods and techniques for solving the problem of resistance of tumor heterogeneity basing on quantitative MRI image data mining, and lays an important foundation for the clinical application of accurate image quantitative research in the field of MRI images.
